Born 9.3.1936 in Basel-Switzerland.
Move to England at age nine, where her father abused her sexually for the time of four years. After father's suicide return to Basle-Switzerland. Finishing School.
First marriage. Training for gymnastic and dance teacher, Public Speaker and English Teacher. Second marriage. Mother of two daughters.
Emigration to New Zealand. Confrontation with charismatic, fundamental Pentacostal Church. Return from New Zealand to Basle-Switzerland at age 62.

Acitivities since 1999
Work and rebuilding of own life (contents of book 4: Workingtitle "The Freezed Smiling"). Four years training with Dr. Peter Levine for the Diploma S.E. Trauma Therapist.
Writing the forth book which came out in automn 2009.

Iris Galey works on a worldwide bases to suport incest survivors.
She wrote the following tabubreaking bestsellers for this reason:
